The impossible sometimes takes a little longer
In a front-page piece today on a basic legal research tool now being offered for free to Monroe County Bar Association members, the Daily Record observes that
"[m]any solo practices and small law firms don’t have any paid legal research tools. They use the Westlaw and LexisNexis services available in the law library at the Appellate Division of state Supreme Court, Fourth Department, or the law library in the Hall of Justice."
That's right. But we feel a need to add:
Always available at the law library: a staff of dedicated reference librarians with decades of experience ready to help you compose your search, narrow your results, or find the impossible. Talk about a legal research tool you don’t have to pay for!
