A work crew set out the benches across the street from our offices today. It won't be long before we can enjoy lunch outside or take a nice lunchtime stroll around Grove Place!

New York State adopts International Codes

Nine of the 15 International codes published by the International Code Council have been adopted by New York State “March 22, 2016, effective 180 days after publication (publication date, April 6, 2016)”—Historical Note: 19 NYCRR Parts 1219 through 1227, Part 1240. The adopted codes are Building, Energy conservation, Existing building, Fire, Fuel gas, Mechanical, Plumbing, Property maintenance, and Residential.

You'll find them shelved after [New York State] Official Compilation of Codes, Rules and Regulations (NYCRR) in the New York circulating collection, call number KFN 5035 A25 2015. Each volume is labeled to identify it as a New York State code, for example, Other title: Building Code of New York State.
